Establishing the baseline: what we measure and why

Alongside the first installations, AgriPlus+ began its baseline study — recording current growing practices, yields, market access and financing conditions across the participating farms. The baseline matters because it is what everything else is measured against: at the end of the programme, farm-level outcomes will be compared directly to this starting point, so the difference the programme made can be shown rather than claimed.
