Soil testing on the pilot farms: building the nutrient baseline

On 10–12 August 2026, the AgriPlus+ team from ENTEN and Prima Finanțare visited pilot farms across Moldova to run on-site soil tests. Using an agriculture test kit for nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium (N, P, K), a GroLine pH tester and an EC tester, the team measured the nutrient levels, acidity and salinity of the soil in each protected-cultivation site. These readings give farmers and agronomists a clear picture of what each soil actually needs — the foundation for precise, low-waste fertilisation advice. The results feed directly into the upcoming training on macro-nutrients and fertilisation.
