Privacy and Data Protection Statement — AgriPlus+
Last updated: August, 2026
This Privacy and Data Protection Statement explains how information submitted through the AgriPlus+ website (agriplus.advisionfinance.nl) and collected in the course of the AgriPlus+ programme is collected, used, stored and protected. AgriPlus+ is a precision-agriculture programme supporting protected-cultivation farmers in the Republic of Moldova over 2026–2029, funded by the Impact Clusters programme of the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO).
1. What is our legal framework?
Personal data is processed in accordance with the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 – and, in the Republic of Moldova, with the Law on Personal Data Protection (Law No. 195/2024, in force from 23 August 2026, which replaces Law No. 133/2011).
2. What is the legal basis for processing your personal data?
For information you submit through our website contact form, the legal basis is your consent, given when you voluntarily send us your details. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting the point below. All processing based on your consent will stop once you withdraw it; however, any processing that has already taken place remains lawful.
Where you take part in the programme as a farmer or partner, we also process personal data as necessary to enter into and perform our agreement with you, and to meet our legal, accounting and grant-reporting obligations.
3. Who We Are
The AgriPlus+ programme is led and managed by AdVision Finance B.V. ("AdVision Finance"), a company based in the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce / KVK No. 27378529). AdVision Finance is the controller for the personal data described in this Statement. AgriPlus+ is delivered together with a consortium of partners — Prima Finanțare (Moldova), ENTEN (Romania) and Planton Solutions (Moldova); for certain programme data, these partners may act as joint controllers with AdVision Finance. Questions about this Statement or the processing of your personal data may be directed to AdVision Finance at adv@advisionfinance.nl.
4. Information We Collect
Through the website contact form, AdVision Finance collects your name, your organisation, your email address, the category you select ("I am a…"), and the content of your message. You should not include sensitive personal information in any open-text message.
For participating farmers, we also collect farm and agronomic information, including remote-sensing measurements (such as temperature, humidity and soil conditions), farm profile details, growing practices and, where relevant, the information needed to assess access to finance. Some of this information may relate to you as an identifiable individual. Detailed terms are provided to farmers separately when they join.
The website may also collect limited technical information necessary for its operation and security, such as your IP address, the date and time of your visit, and information about the browser or device used.
5. How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected to respond to your enquiry and contact you about the programme, to deliver the programme to participating farmers and partners (including monitoring, agronomic advice, access to finance and market access), and to operate, secure and improve the website. Programme information is also used, in anonymised and aggregated form wherever possible, to measure results against the programme baseline, to report to the funder (RVO), and to inform sector insights and reports.
6. Confidentiality and Sharing
Individual responses and farm-level information are treated as confidential. We share personal data only where necessary: with the AgriPlus+ consortium partners (Prima Finanțare, ENTEN and Planton Solutions) for programme delivery; with service providers who process data on our instructions (such as website hosting, email and analytics providers) under contracts that require them to protect it; and with the funder (RVO) and public authorities, normally in anonymised or aggregated form, or where required by law. We do not sell your personal data, and individual results will not be published in a form that identifies you without your explicit consent.
7. International Data Transfers
The programme operates across the Netherlands (EU), Romania (EU) and the Republic of Moldova. Transfers within the EU/EEA are covered by the GDPR. Transfers to the Republic of Moldova are made on the basis of appropriate safeguards: Moldova is a party to Council of Europe Convention 108 and, from 23 August 2026, applies Law No. 195/2024, which is aligned with the GDPR. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. You can request more information about these safeguards using the contact details below.
8. Data Security
AdVision Finance applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss, misuse or destruction. Access to identifiable information is restricted to authorised persons who require it for the purposes described in this Statement. While reasonable measures are taken to protect information, no online platform or method of electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Data Retention
Personal data submitted through the contact form is retained for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a programme participant or partner. Personal data of programme participants is retained for the duration of the programme and thereafter for as long as required by our legal, accounting and grant-reporting obligations (up to 7 years). Anonymised data that can no longer be linked to an individual or organisation may be retained for benchmarking, research and sector analysis.
10. What Are Your Rights?
Under the GDPR and Moldovan Law No. 195/2024 you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; request that we restrict processing or object to it; and, where processing is based on consent, withdraw your consent at any time. You also have the right to receive your data in a portable format and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Withdrawing consent will not affect any processing that took place before it was withdrawn. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
11. Cookies
The website uses cookies that are essential for it to function, and — only with your consent, requested through the cookie banner — analytics cookies that help us understand how the website is used. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies through the banner and change your choice at any time in your browser settings.
12. Changes to This Statement
This Statement may be updated periodically to reflect changes to the AgriPlus+ programme, our data-processing practices or applicable legal requirements. The latest version will be published on the AgriPlus+ website together with the date on which it was last updated.
